Although I don't have the tablet that long yet, I can see the nib is already beginning to wear out.
At first, I thought I was pressing too hard, but when I searched for a site where I could buy extra nibs and information about what kind of nibs I needed, I encountered various forums of people telling they're experiencing exactly the same.
So then I thought it was the nibs just wearing out a bit too fast. That didn't really sound too bad for me yet so I just continued my search, got referred to Wacom's E-shop and found what I was looking for.
But here's the real thing: it costs me 10 to buy them, plus 6 shipping costs for just 5 of these nibs!!
That's almost 20 total for just 5 extra nibs and I think it's just too much looking at how fast they wear out.
But oh well, I guess that's my opinion
To everyone owning a Wacom Bamboo tablet him/herself: Tell me what *you* think about it!

I think that's the best way to go about it, practicing bits and pieces, and when you feel ready - taking on a small project : )

Remember Campers, you don't have to outrun the bear, just your slowest friend...
LOL
It makes me happy to hear it's still possible for me to become as good as you
Maybe I'll take on a small project as practice...my school's awards would be perfect for that I think (you can submit animations) :3
I don't have to win, I participated a few times already and I do it just for fun and practice
I made a little 50x50 animation too
